Spare tire options

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone know where I can get a temporary spare "donut" to put in the spare tire well.

Are there any aftermarket companies out there, or does BMW offer anything like this?

The reason BMW doesn't offer a donut spare is because when installed on the rear axle, its smaller rolling circumference will damage the limited-slip differential. If a smaller spare tire is required, try substituting a narrower one of the same rolling circumference, i.e. 205/65-15 in place of 225/60-15.

I used to have a 911 that had a spare tire which inflated to the correct diameter The spare was deflated with a sidewall of about 3/4". Are these available aftermarket anywhere? I'm not looking for smaller diameter, just thinner.
