They are too far forward to have to do with the roller blind or are they?
I'm thinking of cutting a hole... about 10"x10" in the rear shelf...

I found them last month while doing the rear shocks/springs. I was considering using them for helping to install a stripper pole in the back seat.
Well, it would be a midget stripper pole...... ha ha.

those three holes are for the anchors that you use when installing child safety seats.

Center position is for the police lights, the side positions are for band pass speakers. As JD says the screw grommets are for the gold poles same relation in size as the band pass speakers. :D

Ah. So that's what they were for!
They are internally threaded so I used them to hang my CD changer from when I installed it. I couldn't think of any possible use for them and not having kids wouldn't have a clue about child seats.

Since I've actually got a child seat back there, what all is needed to install the anchors? Anyone HAVE some they'd be willing to part with?

That's for an E38. I used...if memory serves me right...the 3 parts on the top left in that image (bolt, cap, washer) and the hook (lower left). Dealer had them in.
I bought 3 and mounted them. Not too hard to do. Originally I was going to mount just one but when taking other kids with me it helped to have the 3 mounts. A good selling point, too.
I'd sell you mine but they're in there good and they'd leave a hole in the fabric if I removed them.
