trans refill 4HP22/24 how do you do it?

I use a piece of vinyl hose that fits snug on the dipstick pipe / tube, so that I can see the fluid and when the tranny wants to burp up some air when you fill it, it does not spill. Pushing some fluid back up makes a mess with a small enough funnel stuck in the dipstick tube.

If you are patient you can just hold the first few inches of the dipstick in the tube and then run the oil along the dipstick. If you do it slow enough, the viscosity of the oil will make it run down the dipstick right into the tube. (Old chemist trick) It's slow, but requires no tools.
