'89 525 how release clips that hold top radiator to cradle?

'89 525, how release clips that hold top of radiator to cradle? Bentley is on loan and since this is only the third radiator replacement, I can't recall the "trick".

Thin screwdriver in the slot, pry forward gently to release the front part of the clip, slip a feeler gauge between the front alligator clips and push straight down and back to undo the bottom part of the clip that hooks on the radiator support.

Good luck, they will break if not done correctly, they will break anyway due to age and heat if you're too much in a hurry.

You have to be careful with them as Jr mentioned. If they break get the clips from the dealer. However, before you install them put them in very hot water for a minute and then clip them in. This softens the plastic and they will go in easier without breaking.

Or use a heat gun to warm them up
