Germany is only an hour ahead:D Ive just got home and my mate in Germany is still working. Then again we work in transport so thats normal:( Ive seen both the links before. Apart from going to the local BMW outlet or asking your colleague, is there any way to find out the full original spec from the VIN?

Apart from going to the local BMW outlet or asking your colleague, is there any way to find out the full original spec from the VIN?

You must have online access to ASAP = Aftersales Assistance Portal of the BMW Group, register there and have the PIN. I only have limited access, so I have to ask someone to give me the data.
To get full access you must have a registered shop in Germany and then you have to find a dealer which must send a form to BMW that he asks that you get access, they will send you the password.
So a indy repair shop is fine.
