A/C Help!!!!!

Replaced it all.....condensor, evap, rec dryer, compr, hoses, pulled vaccuum put in R134 blowing cold...pressure on low side 45lbs...looking good then shut off car the low side climbed till it pegged the guage....please tell me that's normal.

thanks Winfred....you made my night....also thanks for the information you gave in past couple weeks on my questions.....you helped me make the correct choice to use Pag 100 rather than 150 that Bmw parts dude told me among other things.

91 535i 5spd 230+k miles and blowin cold air
