I was going to get a newer head unit but has anyone any experience with this to adapt a head unit to an Ipod. I am sick and tired of carrying around all these cd's with me all the time. I have a Clarion unit now and planned on getting this to tap the Ipod into it. Let me know please.

I haven't tried that, but there's a guy on the bay that sells most Ipod/Iphone connects for most aftermarket head units. I got one for my Pioneer and haven't had any problems with it.

I do not want to get a new head just for a input jack and would rather just plug a cable in the rear of the unit and fish it forward to plug in the adaptor to the Ipod. Seems like a waste of a good unit just for a jack.
