....that attachs onto the differential. It looks really old and dark in colour and I want new grease in there so any ideas on what to use. I have Castrol LMM that says its for CV joints http://www.autobarn.com.au/products/10/151/8074/
so will this be fine?

That will be fine , all cv grease is going to be dark in color, it has a high percentage of moly in it which will make it blue black and its very hard to get off your hands so wear throwaway gloves, nitrile or latex.

Do I need to a puller to remove CV off the driveshaft? The Bently manual (260-9) says that I do, but I don't have a puller in my list of tools. I want to remove the CV joint to repack it with new grease. Alternatively does anyone know of a suitable puller I could use?

I know I remove the circlip, I can see that, but I'm unsure how I will remove the CV joint.
