Anyone know what this line is?

Anyone know what this line is (see pictures below)? Picture was taken from driver's side rear. You can see the rear pitman arm to show where it is located. One of the line looks completely rusted! Should I be worried? :(

If I am not mistaken I think it is the fuel return line. Don't know why. Only the return line shows advanced rust. The supply is usually rust free. I replaced both with stainless steel fuel lines when I did the 6 speed conversion. They have been moved to the 530it along with the 6 speed drive train, my current project.

The rust may look bad. It still has a lot of life.

Seems to be the fuel return line, mine got rusty too. However I think it's not important to replace the return line as the importance of the supply one if it is rusty at all as there is a lot lower pressure on the return line than on the supply one.

Yeah the only line that rusted on my 535i was the vent... It crumbled eventually but it didn't make a blind bit of difference so I wouldn't worry about it too much. :)
