Climate Control Lighting

Does anyone know what size/type bulb illuminates the rotary temp control knobs? Dealer or Auto Zone? It would be nice to have the bulb on hand when I take the panel out. E34.net shows how to do it but doesn't tell what bulb to use.

These should be a common stock item at the dealer. You'll need 3 (one might be bad, but while you're in there you might as well replace all of them).

I thought there was only one that illuminated the whole thing?

one 12 v bulb lights up the whole thing. Its real small no plastic on the bulb. Kinda like a christmas light.
