Is there a realoem.com type site for the GMC 5.7L V8?

helping my buddy w/his teardown... man... BMW design rocks, I don't like GM V8 design.... taking apart an intake manifold to replace a fuel pressure regulator.... fragile little poppet valves for fuel injection... and the same pushrod, rocker arm combo I had on my 1967 Nova... deja vu... almost nil techno progress in 30 years, save for some odd sort of fuel injection system.

Hear ya on that! I'm helping out with a 7.4L BB Chevy. We're spending more time running down parts numbers than actual work on the engine.
