very easy. I know that there are different lengths of carpet clips because years ago I bought first time the shorter ones and they did not fit ;-)

So I asked the parts guy in the BMW shop and he explained it to me.

Are those the exact clips you need? There were a few different style of clips used for the mats. I tried to buy some new ones for my old mats and was having difficulty finding the right style for my car (those in your pic aren't it). Luckily when I bought a set of NOS mats from a local independent for $50 they had new clips with them.

How many do you need? I do think I've got some extra clips in one of the styles I can't use. Can try to find them and see if they're the same as the ones you're looking for. Got 'em for nothing with the mats (I bought 3 different sets from them all at once. 2 sets of factory mats and one set of Dinan mats). They're yours if I find 'em and they're the right ones.


Anyways, you can get those from a dealer if you can figure out the part #.

I had those in my care until I changed my floor mats a few weeks ago. I have 4 available in black if necessary as I do not need them anymore. I now have the 'screw-in' types for the new mats. Let me know.
