Ok,all great inventions came from an English shed, the jet engine amongst others but not without help, and mostly before the `net.
Managed to properly(as opposed to my last 535 manifold bodge) assemble a twin turbo manifold from half a Range-Rover and half a 525 manifolds and some superb welding. It all fits in and runs BUT how the hell do I re-calibrate the fuel pump to cope? I liberated some fancy cylinder temp gauges off a Continental engine which tell me the pistons will melt just as I get the sort of boost that melts tyres @ 1800 RPM, the most I have dared use.
Are there any crafty souls out there that have tuned a Duramax or similar and how did they increase the fuelling? With the price of fuel in Europe its got to be worth it but the tools just to install/adjust the pump are over £250 here, which I am prepared to spend, given a result!
