The Sunroof is suck open in the tilt position.....AGAIN!

I tried the last method of beating on the sunroof and then trying it but it didnt work this time...

I am about to lube it then beat it again and try to close it

The motor sounds like it is trying to move the sunroof but something is hindering....

I do recall that when I tried to close it it made a "CLICK" noise before it got stuck

any ideas?????:(

yeah mine was stuck a few years ago, i put some silicon spray around the edges of the sunroof and somehow??? it got going again. it was mis-aligned that why it would not close.

Use the allen key to reverse the motor back and fourth to see if you can locate a misalignment or something in the track. I had some sort of plastic thing jamming my track. It belonged somewhere, but it's still working without it.

I personnaly had to raise the roof just a tad as the trim was hitting the wind deflector. The motor will stop when it encounters resistance, as it should when reaching full close. Loosen the front bolts, raise just a itty-bitty... tighten and there you go.
