How do you test a sunroof motor?

Does anyone have instruction on how to test a sunroof motor. I can hear the relay clicking when I press the sunroof button but the sunroof doesn't move. The sunroof will open/tilt and close manually. I understand if you open the sunroof manually you can try to close it using the door switch, if it closes then it is the sunroof switch. If the windows don't close you need to look at the protection relay under the back seat. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks yeap that worked motor is dead. Pulled mine from the 5 and tried it in my sons. Worked....so I found one on ebay for $20 USD including shipping.
