Head Unit

In my e34 520i 1990 i just cant get the after market head unit out im really not sure how, please help there probably a thread on it but i cant find it. So yeah i just need to get it out and its not the original, cheers

should be a small plastic tab/cover on each side of the head unit face. A small grub screw with a wierd head on it is in there somewhere. A small diameter allen key/hex key will work, but I can't remember what size, just try a few.

Hey,

I really cant find these grub screws, i take of the black side tabs, and theres 4 screws you can undo, i'm undone em but canot get the whole thing out due to the apolstry in the way

Sorry if I mislead you. I've swapped out two Alpine head units this way, but yours may be different. Best to take a photo and post as much info as possible. Someone here will know.
