Hi guys,
Just looking for opinions and guidance about making an oil return on the front of the cam cover. It is a fall of approx 5 cms from the oil drain outlet to where I have marked on this photograph:-

Any good?

Just realised that this idea probably wont work due to blowby pressure - DOH! Ah well, I'll guess I'll be removing the lower timing cover and drilling a lovely big hole in it.......

Blowby is positive crank pressure and the return will always be in that situation. Don't matter where you have the return, convenience is the essence. Turbo guys have preferences but as said, it will always have positive blowback pressure on full throttle.

Thanks guys. So do you think the front cam cover could be a do-able oil return? Or am I going to bite the bullet and pull the sump off?
Cheers,

cam cover will be too high to let the oil drain out of the turbo.

Thanks BigKriss, I'll pull the sump and do it the right way.
