Reverse light/fog light problem

I have a '93 525i. The driver side reverse light and rear fog light do not work. The passenger side lights work perfectly. I tried swapping the bulbs and bulb holders with the other side and still the same thing. The wiring looks good and the bulbs are obviously good, what could the problem be? Any help would be appreciated.

You mean passenger-side lights or passenger side-lights?:-) (Cant see where you live)
Without shorting the pins, check if you have got 12V and ground at each of the offending bulb sockets. If not, there may well be a break in the wiring loom by the hinge.

I live in Italy, the car is from Germany.

The car is LHD. The reverse/foglight on the driver's side of the car do not work. The reverse/foglight on the passenger's side of the car do work. I'll check the loom and see if I can find anything.
