heheh jk its not at 167mph
its actually at 70-80 cruising. i'm taking it to the mech
tommorow, but i was just wondering if he'll
be able to help me. would it be better to take
to tire man?

wheels were bought off 528i nice and new
tires replaced cuz we thought they had a bubble
(they did)

also after valve adjustment, when i come to stop
the car shudders quite violently during idling. this didn't
happen before, but it shouldn't be related to valves...
could i have a vacuum leak somewhere?

tx !

also if the wheels are from an e39 528, then you need the hubcentric spacer rings. (refer to other posts).

so, if it doesn't need spacer ring, and you have isolated the shimmy to the new wheels, then bring to tire shop to check balancing, roundness, even look for bent wheel. The best tire balancing machine is the Hunter 9700. It can detect a bent wheel. Find a shop that uses them.

...to see if the shimmy stops. You're still in NJ, right?
