View Full Version : Replacing thrust arms and such
As some of you know, I am over in Bahrain at the moment. I am getting the shimmy and also the clunking which I'm pretty sure is from the control/thrust arms. What I need to do is buy the parts online, and am shipping them to my friend who is holding the car for me. Would it be wise to get thrust arms and control arms with bushings? Also, where is the best place to buy them online, and I read that the M5 bushings in the 750 control arms are the best, is this correct? Sorry if this seem like a lot to ask, but any help is greatly appreciated.

when i was at shantaram bmw strippers in ontario, i found that the 7 series and e28 arms are not suitable for our cars because they have radically different dimensions. you're looking for the m5 bushings in the e34 arms as being the most durable.

order the thrust arms with the bushings here http://www.bmaautoparts.com/ Make sure they get torqued up with the car on its own weight.
