It is very quiet in here. Since no one has posted I just thought I would, well I got my new bonnet (well my uncle has picked it up) from Melbourne for $50 and now all I need is a way of getting it to Canberra but I got a bonus he also collected two front guards (fenders for US folk)from another guy near where the bonnet was that I got off ebay for $1.05 and when he turned up to collect the guy said "I have a bonnet just like that" and gave it to my uncle and the good news is he said it was for the wide grill and it is arctic silver which is the colour I need for my car. so if this keeps up my yard will start to look like a BMW spare parts shop, not that I mind as I will keep an eye out for spares while they are available and store them in my shed. I have been a victim before so this time I will be ready and able to keep my Beautifully Manufactured Warhorse in it's near new condition. I took it to a spraypainter today just for prices to complete the front end makover and I could see the look on his face as I drove it in to the shop and he went from a little bit of interest to all over the front checking possible underlying hidden damage the P/O's repairer stuffed up. the report was good he said it looked like a minor prang they just didn't take care with (even he called them *ickheads) and wondered why they would cut such small corners as the extra cost to do it right would have been small.

if you have enough space, keep what you can get. But in most cases especially that special part which one needs urgently is not among those kept in stock.
I still have 2 E32 750iL waiting to be disassembled, one of them a rare Highline version with the rear tables and the separate aircon in the rear and cooler box in rear armrest. Electric rear sunblind, rear windows sunshades including the triangle sunshades, many of those parts are NLA new from the dealer like the control panel for the rear aircon.
Valuable stuff for my other Highline which I am restoring to old glory.
The other parts car is a 04/1994 750iL, last month of production of E32, with all the goodies they put in for free in the last year of production like trunk/boot softclose, electric steering column adjustment etc.
On stock I have now 3 M70 V12 engines with alle the wire looms and control units, some 4HP24, fenders, doors, hoods, trunk lids, wire looms, seats, clusters, modules etc.
