For a couple of years now I have been trying to find a 55 mph shimmy to no avail. Tonight I knocked out the old thrust arm bushings and replaced them with the Powerflex bushings. Most difficult part of the job was chiseling out the old bushings. Really pretty easy to do. Make sure you are liberal with the copper grease on all components when assembling. Shimmy is completely gone, ride is a little stiffer but I don't know if it is due to the new bushings or the new bavauto lower springs I put in two weeks ago. Another nice feature of the Powerflex bushings is you don't have to pretension the bushing just torque them to 94 foot pounds, drop the car and drive. NICE.
