It's inevitable, I belong in an E34.
1994 530iT with a 4.0 and a 6spd.
I also have an E38 740iL back there.

That is a nice one and good powered, plus manual shifter, plus Touring, probably difficult to get in that condition. Congrats

Thanks, it needs a little TLC, but overall it's in great shape. Going through some of your old threads about the climate control. I have heat coming out of the defrost and feet only. I found a thread saying it was a stepper motor and then another saying it could be a blend door arm on the passenger side footwell.
Random CEL when running on the highway for a bit, 1221 code comes up in the stomp test.
Need to wire up the driver's sport seat. The drivers seat has no power for some reason, the PO said something about the wiring not matching up since the car didn't have memory.

just so meant to be. I have only ever seen one of these years ago when i first met the bimmer dot crew for first time at an aussie race track, for a meet day, if i recall correctly Greg( GPINAU) organised an awesome day as he was a cams marshall at Eastern creek. we thought it was just the ducks nuts as they were never sold in OZ. i would buy one tomorrow if you could get one here at a decent price.
best of luck and so much welcome back its great to see old faces from another kind of oldie newbie oldie

Great find on the touring. I just put mine back on the road after my WRX engine started to knock a lot.
Time to sink more money in the wagon...

3 or 4 years? I could have sworn it was 3 or 4 weeks. I really must try to keep up

Congrats on the Touring, I would really like to have one. BTW, I just recently rediscovered this forum, don't know how I forgot about it. Just recently had a no-start situation and searched around for Dave M's picture of the fuel pump relay homemade wire harness switch. Still had my harness and I'm up and running again. I will make sure and bookmark this site.

Congrats, welcome back. Don't leave a second time.
Also, please keep us posted on the heat vent issue. Would be very interested to hear your conclusion...
