Is my chip still good...got wet

Just got my car back from getting my dme replaced. My old one got wet. I had a custom chip in it that got wet. Would the chip be still good or should i just buy a new one

I assume the chip is o.k., just try it

If i try it it won't mess up the dme?

No. So long as it is truly dry. Leave it in a drying cupboard for a few days to be sure. Nothing too hot.
