Should I remove the radiator as Bentley suggests?
Will also do new water pump, T-stat, and coolant change, at the same time.
Looks like a bitch, but I'm gonna go for it.

seeing as you mentioned "timing belt", i take it you are referring to the e30? I don't know if you've seen this or not, but it doesn't look as though bruno removed the rad in the pics.

unless the e30 is closer quarters or such.

I'll make good use of it.
I'm really most concerned about bleeding the system, afterwards. That seems like a balck art, and I don't know what color votive candles to light or which secret ancient Germanic tribal incantations to utter.
