Those options are rubbish, good to frustrate self. Much better and a PROPER option here. (Must account for frictional loss in the tool when turning to torque spec):

On my sons E46 we got to the mounts fune but the top trans and starter bolts were impossible. Had to lower the rear of trans and lift the front of the engine to get access with about 4 foot of extensions. Installation was more fun.
