Due to various reasons I'm not going to get into here....I need to buy a set of inexpensive tires for my 95 530 with 15" OEM basketweaves. Looking at TireRack, I'm leaning toward the Yokohama AVS dB S2 . Any suggestions/advice? Anyone used the Kumho's?
Thanks!

Take a look at a tire from Falken. Great quality and inexpensive.

I have the Kumho 716 HP4 on my '93 525i, they're 16" and i paid about $82 a piece. GREAT tire for the money, granted it's no Pilot Sport, but for the money you can't get better than the Kumho 716 or 711.

BF Goodrich Traction TAs.
Supposedly 60K mile tires. Stiff sidewall and good wet traction for the price. Go with H rated (cheaper).
I'm happy with them.

I did a set of Kumho KH 11 - VR rated, so far so good. No real complaints.

Same basic opinion, but I did go with the V rated version. And I hope to put them to good use.
