This is my brother-in-law's problem. He munched a curb in his E39 528 while spilling coffee on himself going around a corner (he blamed a flimsy cupholder, but I think he was still asleep).
He was really upset about the need to buy a new one (+/-$1000) before I told him that was probably not necessary.
I know this has come up before, but I have no record of the place (in Pennsylvania or NJ, I believe) where many of you have successfully had wheels straightened.
Help a brother-in-law out?
Thanks.

Hey G-man -He might try this place. It's close if he's on the east coast and I've heard they do pretty good work although I have not used them. They also have a huge selection of BMW (and other makes) wheels for sale with or without exchange.

A friend had his rim repaired at Wheel America and they did a great job. It looks like a new rim from the factory and color, polish lip, etc. looks perfect! They only charge $109 (flate rate) for all types of repair. That's the best price on the net. They have eight locations... Check out their web site....

nice guy, lots of wheels in stock too. I wonder if it makes a difference that its a two peice wheel, cause everyone charges more for them

...just had his '99 Acura alloy wheels straightened. They charged him $125. YMMV. They're a solid outfit, and you'll spend no-way-near what a new rim would cost:

. . . she welcomes your alloy wheel business.
Methinks we're gearing up for some summertime NWS episodes.

If it EVER stops raining here in Michigan I might get a chance to cruise the beaches and hunt for fresh future ex wives!

After promising to have two of my M-Parallels refinished in 24 hours, they held them for five WEEKS before finally admitting they didn't have the skills or equipment to properly duplicate the BMW polished & anodized clearcoat finish. In the meantime, I heard every excuse in the book including: Our machines broke down, and, the wheels are done but there wasn't any room on the UPS truck.
Cheers,
David

They quoted $275 to repair and refinish a BMW M-Parallel wheel back to the factory original polished, anodized, clearcoat finish.
Cheers,

Don't know about the e39,
but my mechanic in NJ gave me one for the e34 for $50 when I bent mine.
It was in great shape too!
He has tons of BMWs on his lot. Let me know if you want his number.
