Hi,
Instead of a Subaru, why not get a late E34 or early E39 525 wagon, I said to my wife? Great idea, she replied. Okay, where do we find one?
These things appear to be quite rare; is there a wagon-gathering place where used ones hide?
Thanks,
Adnan

if youre in the states, use autotrader.com. you can search by year, exact model, min price, max price, distance from you to car, etc. just did a search and found plenty of 5 series tourings for sale. theres a few late model e34 tourings.. but i dont see any early model e38 tourings. i dont think that bmw had them until about 99-00 with the 528iT and 540iT

Try autotrader, roadfly, and vehix.
Also try ebay.
I read about one for sale today:

I love mine BTW. Good luck.

Albuquerque, NM:
BMW 1992 525i Touring Wagon. Dual sunroofs, very clean! 94K mi. $7995. 889-9653 ZiaAuto.com
You probably aren't close enough to make it especially interesting as a potential car for you... but I'd love a legitimate excuse to go look at it. "really honey, I'm doing a favor for a friend. I promise. I'm not just a fanatic that wants to look at some old station wagon. "

I drove a '93. Not EXACTLY a thrill a minute.
