Call me anal, but the little creaks and other undefinable sounds from my car's interior are driving me crazy! My 92 525i sounds like every other trim piece is about to fall off when I hit bumps at city speed. It's like the leather and rubber are so weathered that they become extra noisy whenever they make contact with a body panel. Yes that's it, I have loud leather. I don't know exactly what it is, but if anyone else has been able to quiet their car down, please give me some pointers!
Thanks,
BennyM

Benny - try lubing up your rubber door seals with Gummipledge (spelling's a bit off but the parts counter will know what you what). BMW part, about $7.00 for a tube.
Shoulld help quite down the creaking.

My arm rests rub the side of the console and creak. Vinylex application is temporary relief. Does anyone else have this annoying problem?

I'm not sure if your year had the self adjusting seat belt....but if it did, and then plastic clips popped out, then that might be causing the creaks aswell.
The touring creaks alot, just because of the trunk. Atleast ours does.
Good luck.
