the "used" tire i put on my car to replace the belt separated dunlop has, for most of its life, been out of round. when driving, it makes a thumping, and at low speeds, it sounds like the grrrrrr of an oversized tire on a jeep. my question is, will moving it from the front (undriven) to the rear wheels likely reduce the amount of noise? the previous car it was on had them on the rear wheels for 60k miles (and its fwd, so they weren't in the drive position). any suggestions on how to amelioriate the noise?
