...believe the above concensus is even more in favor of registering than the above poll indicates due to the opportunity of unregistered people to vote and perhaps the opportunity of voting twice by over zealous members who want their way :-). Perhaps board software prohibits this but maybe not. Why I originally asked for a vote in standard thread format which better reflects member's opinions and suggestions anyway.
