NE1 install Recaro seats in e34?

I'm looking at some front Recaro seats from the late 80's and need to find the proper seat rail part # as well as any install tips.

I'm getting ready to install Sparco Evo's and the game plan is to use E28 manual rails (no adjustment except for sliding) which supposedly fit, and then make brackets from rails to seats (they're sidemount, would be even easier if they were floor mount). My friend has done this many times before and says it's one of the easiest upgrades you can do. He recommended against Sparco or Momo or whatever rails. He said first of all, they're only good if your stock rails are WAY too high, otherwise you're going to end up like a goofy teenager in a civic, peering over the door sill. AND, with aftermarket rails, you have to fit the rails to the floor and rails to the seat, whereas stock manual rails only need to be fitted to the seats. I can email you some pics when it's done.
