Anyone have opinions about "upgrading" to brass bushing on caliper guide bolts? I'm replacing a few caliper guide pins on the front end of a stock 89 e34, and have found a few places selling brass pushings as an alternative to the stock rubber ones. Any comments?
Thanks

probably transfers a ton of noise, id guess the only purpose of brass would be racing, the rubbers probably catch fire due to heat like the dust boots do, id go with fresh rubber they don't really bear that much force as that is mostly contained by the caliper bracket
