one peace driveshaft

I'm looking for a one piece drive shaft for a '86 535I, any one know where to get somthing like that? if i can't track one down i see many center bearings in my future.

Are you having center bearing failures? I've had one Guibo self distruct on the freeway and I've replaced 2 or 3 center bearings. Not bad for 30+ years of BMW driving. Maybe I'm just lucky.

ditto, why not figure why it's shitting bearings? i have found bent driveshafts, sagging motor mounts, broken tranny mounts, bad u-joints, outta ballence driveshafts, wrong tranny crossmember and twisted body's all in the search for repeted bearing failuers. if you are planning on keeping the car id buy a bayer (spelling?)replacment driveshaft, it's one of the best i've seen with replacable joints and they are not that expensive
