track link (dog bone)

Could a worn track link cause excessive camber in the e34?Since it's purpose in life is to limit the trailing arm travel to give anti squat/anti dive properties or better handling @ corners,I was just thinking that wear of this part could cause accelerated wear on the inner part of the tyre.
My LH tyre wears faster on the inner thread than on my RH tyre.Any thoughts? :)
