I'd quite like to use my "check engine" light, to keep on top of any problems, but when I stick a bulb in the socket it stays lit the whole time, because I have the older DME EPROM. I did the stomp test, but just got 1444, so there were no faults stored. If I acquired a 1.3 EPROM, would I get any more improvements other than a functional check engine light?
By the way... you can change the instrument cluster bulbs without removing the steering wheel... Just gotta wriggle it around a bit till one half of the cluster pokes through the steering wheel. Where's a 32mm socket when you need it???
