Bosch alternator diode plate source

The diode plate in my '90 535i Bosch alternator is toast, but all other alternator components are good.

What is a good source for a new Bosch diode plate?

what country are you in? as you say "plate" (i've never seen the bosch diode setup in an e34), can you uncrimp them? you might just have to get some replacements from the local rebuilder and put them in, diodes are usually criteria for alternator replacement.

here's a prof. supply company if you are in the US, they might have a "part" as opposed to diodes.
