dumb question, but it doesnt appear that there is a level for the power steering reservoir (CHF 11S).
if you open the cap, you see the wire mesh thing, which can be removed. how high should the fluid go up to??? mine is almost at the bottom/empty!
any help much appreciated
thanks

your tab on the cap is broken. Full is about 1 inch from the top.

we have essentially the same vehicles.
mine is 1994 with 166k, no chip, all stock (including replaced parts), silver
im losing AF, and I guess PS fluid as well now. maybe time for hose change.

You would enjoy the JC chip, it's a big difference than stock when up in it's powerband. Not too many choices in chips for these contraptions.
Stock springs?? I didn't know any better until I dropped it and now I know stock springs will never go back in there...lol
Where is the antifreeze going?? Doesn't sound good to me! The PS hoses might just need the hose clamps tightened? Thats what I did and it has remained livable since.

antifreeze is coming out somewhere beneath exactly where the fill is against the rear of the engine. i havent had the time to investigate further.
i was 3/4 L down on the powersteering fluid. local shop had the 11S for $22.
