funny smoke coming from under car

hey guys, i was driving my 89 535 at about 80 miles an hour for about 10 or somiles and i noticed that when i got home there was a weird smoke coming from under the car, but it eas coming from the front half of the car. can someone tell me what the problem is and what i need to do to fix it. thanks.

Please describe..color? smell? Did you pop the hood and try to locate the general area where it was coming from?

the smoke is like a blueish color cant really tell cuz it was at night, and it smelt liek burning fluid or something. also there is a funny grinding noise coming from the car on take off and when i slow down. it comes from directly under the center console in the car. niose just stated like today or so.

Is the smoke inside the car or from the outside?
Outside:
Could be oil from engine or transmission splashed onto the exhaust system

Inside:
Could be coolant or heater core problem that spilled inside somehow

Or Could be anything in the engine compartment.

You will have to open the hood and see what is going on there.

Well, this doesn't explain the noises - but there's been a couple times when I've been freaked out by smoke coming from my car - then I'll find the Wal-Mart bag that's melted itself to my exhaust somewhere...
