Hello everyone
I'm replacing my driver's side exterior door handle this evening since the casting broke when some 'tea leaf' tried to steal it - I assume he thought if he pulled up on the handle hard enough, the door might open. Bet he got a shock when the alarm went off as soon as he raised the handle! I have already taken the lock barrel out of the spare I am intending to fit since I want to continue using the same key all round the car, so I know the procedure for changing the lock barrels now.
Is there anything else likely to make this a difficult task ahead of me?
PS For the benefit of our American members, tea leaf is Cockney rhyming slang for a thief! Just a little UK culture to put a smile on your faces!
Best wishes to all, :D
