how much does a used e34 525 or 535 engine cost?

will they fit in a 1989 520i? is it worth it to change the whole engine. i mean is it too much trouble to change it?

I mean ur car for example is 525 and u want to change into 535i or 540i then I suggest u get a canceled car from the scrap yard (sure with a functional engine and gear) and u pull out all ur old wirings, install the one u bought . there are many things u can do before sending it to a technician, so u can save money.
