OT: Quick help needed on transmission flush for Ford Expedition

I dropped the pan, but only got about 6 quarts of fluid, when the manual says 15+ quarts to re-fill, what gives?? Is the rest of the fluid in the transaxles? Is there another drain plug other than in the pan?

Secondly, what can I use to clean the inside of the pan and re-useable gasket? Engine De-greaser, brake parts cleaner? Gasoline?

I suppose I will be changing the fluid again as I forgot to drain the ATF oil cooler. At least I replaced the filter and dont have to drop the pan again.
