They apparently fit m50s (or at least thats the engine in the E36s from that range).
Do you guys think they might work, or are they just chromed OEM manifolds?
Their Dyno chart looks a little sketchy, like one they use for all their headers for all different cars.

Anywho, exhaust is starting to get a bit rattly, might have to be disassembling it soon so I started looking for things I could replace ;)

Ask seller if you can send someone by their place to look at them in person- I'll ride by there one day this week if they agree. BTW, I've never heard of this place.
IMHO- if you're gonna run the stock cat., these headers won't give you any gain in performance (they do look kinda cool though.......)

A couple of acquaintances of mine bought Sentra se-r headers from them, made by Stone Racing (AKA OBX). I thought they would be Pep-Boys quality, but they're surprisingly robust. Flanges are very heavy-duty and there have been no fitment issues. Of course, those are Nissan parts...

I thought that name looked familiar.
Yup the sentra headers are decent quality.............then again they are pretty much copies of the HotShot 2 or 3rd generation pipes. The community is mixed on it’s opinion of the company, but the product is solid.
If they’re anything like the pictures they should be a slight improvement at least. BMW oem M50 manifolds, while better than most are still cast iron 6-2-1 logs. Heavy and rough. The manifolds on the M60 look much more tubular in comparison.
I find 10hp a very reasonable expectation, maybe even 15.
Between that the reduced weight (specially over the front axle) and the ‘bling’ factor they could be worth it.

I wouldn't expect much HP gains from these headers... And again for the price, you can give them a try...
I found some better headers for my M52 for around 225 US

The flanges on the OBX/Stone Racing looked more heavy-duty to me than those on my Hotshot gen II. By the way, good to see another SE-R owner on the bimmer board!!

Where did you find them? (please don't say Canada :p )
Any idea how the exhaust ports on the 52 differ from the 50 if at all?
All the other sets are $250 or so, and that one was $125 for some reason. Anyway, I just realized that the auction has ended, so now I have to buy the more expensive ones if I want them. I think Im going to try to find out what the rattling in my exhaust is before I buy them, but for the bling factor at least, I think I might add them to the list.

They have auctions all the time for these headers. I think on the M52 there is a tube that goes from one header to the other for the OBDII management. I won't install that on the race car engine. And they aren't in Canada...
But I am going with these ones: http://www.tuningdepot.com/product.asp?sku=4288

They look a little bit more like headers.
