1989 BMW 535i, E34 with Toyota Supra 7MGTE 6 cyl. turbo. Fully rebuilt, bigger injectors, Lexus LS400 VAF, Trust intercooler, Mille Miglia MM2 18" wheels, Spax suspension Kit, 3" exhaust. Never ran it at the track, but confident it was a high 13 sec. car. Not everyone appreciates this swap, but for the same cost as a rebuilt BMW automatic tranny(which it needed), why not?

My son has a '91 Supra with a 1JZ (JDM) engine and that thing is a screamer. He just returned from a big Supra get together in Las Vegas on Sunday and they had a dyno day for anyone with $45. There was one guy who cranked over 1,000hp on the dyno! My son's old Supra had the 7MGTE engine and he got 390hp at the wheels from a car that cost him $2,400. Pretty cool.

Actually I had an '87 supra non turbo I loved the car until the headgasket problem... like every supra. That is where I switched to the E34..

Yea, my son did the metal head gasket thing when he rebuilt the head. It's a very fun car.
