Sump transfer

quick question
will a sump from an m20 2.5 fit on an m20 2.0??

well i recently looked into sumps for the m20 and although the 2 i had would phsically fit, one had the dip stick located in the sump and the other didnt, the M20 block has a hole which on some cars is open some not, when its open it allows for the dipstick to be located straight into the block, when closed it uses the newer sump with the dipstick in there.

so can be fitted just requires the dip stick relocating and a bit of diy. to knock the bung out..

so answer really, it will fit, just check the dipstick type.
