Delrin insert impressions

Just installed the inserts from Bruno at my mechanics and I must say it makes quite a difference in handling and shifting! I will give overall impressions in a week after I get back from my Chicago to Toronto and return trip. So far there is a lot less dive at the rear when shifting and handling is better around corners.

I agree in the handling improvement. Mine is an automatic so I did not notice any shifting change. I am finding that with each replacement in suspension components, I notice that the car rides/handles a bit tighter.

also did my dogbones and will do the rear delrin this weekend... how do you install the delrin inserts on the front control arms, and is it for upper or lower?

The thrust arm inserts are easy to install as long as you have ramps and a toruque wrench, 22mm socket and 22mm wrench (close end).

REmove the bolt that goes through the thrust arm bushing.
REmove the old inserts.
Install the new Racing King inserts
Reinstall the bolt that goes through the thrust arm bushing.
Place the front of your car on ramps.
Torque the bolt to the right value (94 ft or something like that).
and voila, enjoy.

...so pretty much as easy as the rears.... thanks. will chk ur website...Well.. I wouldn't say "as easy as" - the thrust arm bolts can be REALLY hard to budge, and they're in a relatively akward place. Plus, you HAVE to torque them down with the front suspension at normal ride height, this is quite the brain teaser for those of use with lowered cars and no four-wheel lifts. :) (I'd kill for a set of low-rise ramps, but they're really hard to find)

Also, you're supposed to use a new nylock nut after you take the old one off. This is probably smart advice.

use the board half way up the ramp and you will clear very well.
