shifter vibrating HARD

under accleration in 1st and 2nd gears (less pronounced in 2nd)
my shifter rattles and vibrates left and right.

if i take the shift knob off its not as loud, but still there.
some busing or something must be worn out, but what
is it? anyone know what's going on here?

Mine did that when the flex disc (guibo) and center bearing were ready to get replaced. They were fine one day, and after a little trip on the highway, it started acting up. The rubber part of the center bearing was basically gone, and the guibo was well ripped up.
