check engine light went on today, temp seems fine no signs of overheating but noticable lost of power as i was driving. gonna take it to my mechanic tomorow.what shud i expect ?

Have you tried the stomp test?? You have to stomp fast, yet evenly spaced stomps... that should hopefully at least give you an idea of whats going wrong.

the link to what the codes actually mean is dead... but I'm sure with a search on this forum you'll be able to find them, or perhaps someone else knows that link.
