:(
My heating/venting system was A1, now there seems to be very little air movement through the fan. It takes ages to clear even a slightly misted windscreen in the mornings. Heeeeeeelllllllllppppppppp!

Probably not changed for years (done 230k miles). Can anyone tell me where it is on a RH drive car, please?

it might be the same but opposite of american cars but probably not. Go to the online ETK site and check it out, the diagram should provide some serious input.
230K wow...can you make it a point to take some pictures of that thing once you get it out????

:p Stupid me! I've done a search now and found some excellent looking instructions - I should have searched first, innit?
Thanks for input, it's half past two so I'm off to bed - oh, after I've taken the dogs for a walk....in the rain.

I'll post some pics when (if) I successfully get it out.
p.s. Do dealers sometimes clean them by using a solvent spray down the intake, rather than actually r & r?

your gonna look at that thing and puke when you see what you were breathing...or...not breathing. Ever wonder why our cars never get dusty dash boards?
